    Things like n°2 need to be talked out, just so it’s clear what each one expects.

    1. No. See, the problem is that I tend to find friends who aren’t quirky. Seems like none of the quirky ones want to hang out with me. 🙂 Luckily, my wife is just quirky enough.

  2. Sometimes friends just speak a different language (The Seven Love Languages). Communication is strained and the effort is worth it, but you do not have the energy to keep it up.
